Join our team in Thurles as an Accounts Administrator
We are looking for an Accounts Administrator to join our busy team in Thurles, Tipperary. Ryans Cleaning, with over 30 years of experience are the leading providers of cleaning services for mass events, large-scale facilities, commercial and domestic clients in Ireland and the UK. We operate at some of the most iconic venues and events in the country, providing high-quality services that improve the sustainability, hygiene, health and safety of millions of customers every year.
Reporting to
Head of Finance
Main accountabilities and key tasks
- Assist all aspects of the sales and purchase ledger, including invoicing of customers, posting supplier invoices, and preparing monthly payment runs to suppliers
- Posting, maintenance and reconciliation of banking transactions
- Manage credit card and expense claims of employees
- Supporting company departments by developing close working relationships with group companies and external partners
- Management of the Purchase Order system ensuring its compliance with group policy
- Deliver improvement initiatives to reduce costs and increase efficiencies
- Other ad hoc work as required
Your Skills and Experience
- 3+ years’ experience gained in a similar role
- High degree of computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office applications, Excel in particular
- Excellent communicator, interpersonal and organisational skills with experience in engaging with customers, colleagues, Senior Management, and external service providers
- Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail
